Andy Oldman is an experienced teacher and teacher developer. He has taught in a range of secondary settings over the past 20 years. He is currently involved in a number of teacher training projects including being the Southwest TSST Director, where he leads a team of experts in delivering specialist Maths training to hundreds of teachers in the region. MathsTeachingSolutions is a dedicated team of Maths Teaching professionals who have proven skills in the following areas of training.
Andy is an experienced Specialist Leader of Education who has worked on a number of DfE funded projects such as modelling, coaching and mentoring in a local Improving Mathematics at Key Stage 2 project, as well and quality assuring a Catch-up and Keep-up SSIF programme. He is also a Teaching for Mastery Secondary Specialist and experienced work group lead with NCETM accreditation. He currently overseas a highly successful Internship programme for Maths undergraduates in the southwest.
Andy is also the AMSP area coordinator for the Solent region, developing teachers professionally as well as organising enrichment events for students, and also fulfills a similar role for the Jurassic Maths Hub in the Bournemouth, Christchuch and Poole conurbation.
