Mastery through to Secondary

The Mastery programme has been successfully implemented at primary level and is now being developed at key stage 3. Andy is a Mastery specialist currently working on a local EEF-backed SSIF project as a Specialist Leader of Education, improving outcomes at key stage 2. In the near future the essence of Mastery, “The Big Five” – Fluency, Variation, Representations, Mathematical Thinking and Small Steps within a coherent framework will have an increasing role to play in the secondary classroom.
